ASU Honors Veterans Day

Albany State University held a ceremony
this morning at 11 between L. Orene Hall Building and Sanford Gym. During the
ceremony, there were many salutes and patriotic music by the ASU Concert
Chorale, the Brass Ensemble, and a few members of ASU Gospel Choir.
The honorary speaker for this event was Major
Timothy Cross, who was a former chairman of the Military Science Department and
Assistant Professor of Military Science at Albany State University. He has
served 26 years and now he continues his service in logistics operations at the
Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, Georgia.
Overall, the ceremony was a great way to
reflect on all the sacrifices and services of all military personnel who have
served or active duty.
